NVFCL recently re-evaluated its training programme and how it is delivered. The first thing we wanted to offer was the subject matter or product-based training that would benefit candidates throughout their careers; with this in mind, NVFCL is now a member of the CPD certification service.
We have curated training courses that are relevant, technically accurate, and offer real-life learning skills for those involved with Gas and Fluid Systems.
As an authorised training provider for all FITOK products, we offer the following courses. As the CPD evaluates the courses, course credits will be updated, along with new courses as we develop them.
FITOK Tube & Tube Fitting Installation Training Course
Course Overview
A “hands-on” one-day manufacturers course beginning with Tube Specification, identification and selection, understand the difference between tube and pipe, tube fitting design and installation, reassembly techniques; Theory of tube bending, cutting, deburring including safety considerations; thread identification, thread sealing and galling.
An opportunity to share best practice and provide safer reliable fluid systems.

Tubing – Safe selection related to gas and liquid applications
Tube Fitting History – Types
Installation & Reassembly Procedures
Understanding leakage – explanation using quarter turn demonstration
Thread Identification and sealing techniques
Selecting Fittings that reduce the number of leakage points and aid installation
Tube bending, theory and practical
Theoretical and practical examination to measure understanding
Course evaluation
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed to be of benefit to anyone who has a vested interest in safe, reliable fluid systems from Installation Technicians, Project Engineers & Managers, System Designers and Procurement Specialists.
Assessment
Each delegate must successfully complete a theoretical examination and a practical test by providing an assembly that will be burst tested to verify safe installation procedures have been followed
On successful completion delegates will receive their test piece mounted on a block, a certificate of completion and accreditation card that will be valid for three years. CPD Points Certificate will be available on request.
