NVFCL are now stocking two different kinds of thread sealant suitable for use with liquid and gases services.

Permabond A131 is an anaerobic adhesive designed to seal threaded metal pipe connections and designed specifically to be used with oxygen. The pipe connections carry wide varieties of gases and liquids. It’s suitable for both parallel and tapered threads. It’s can give an instant pressure seal and not dry out like many mastics, re-work can be eliminated.

It’s benefits include: allowing alignment of parts during cure. No loose particles clogging valves. Instant low pressure seals. Excellent chemical resistance. KIWA approved and WRAS listed for contact with wholesome potable water.

Permabond MH052 is ideal for the sealing of threaded joints. It’s approved usage with natural gases, LPG and designed specifically to be used with oxygen and hydrogen. The working pressures go up to 20 bar (290 psi) and for gaseous oxygen up to 10 bar (145 psi) and 60°C (140°F). MH052 seals against gas, water, LPG, hydrocarbons, oils and other chemicals. MH052 won’t shred or dry out, it provides a durable seal which helps extend life of its components.

It’s benefits include: excellent chemical resistance. Pressure seal to burst rating of pipe. No loose particles to clog valves. Approved for use with gaseous oxygen. WRAS listed for contact with wholesome potable water. DVGW & BAM approved.
